At SafeTrade Newcastle we’re always on the look out for new and interesting community services and ways in which we can become more involved in our community or help others to do so.

So, when we came across Fundraising Skills, based right in the heart of our own city, we thought it worth telling our readers about it.

We’re all well aware that fundraising is hard work, but Fundraising Skills makes it alot easier with a range of short online courses designed to support individual fundraisers. The organisation is accredited by the Open College and has been involved with over 500 project workers and volunteers to increase funding for their various charities and also for organisations such as Barnardo's, MIND and Age Concern. The organisation is also involved with fundraising work within schools.

With courses designed to suit everyone and cater for even the most inexperienced fundraisers, it’s a great service with a very user friendly website which we recommended you take a look at!
