How can Safetrade. help me?

Safetrade aims to provide you with an easy means of finding a reliable and high quality contractor locally. We have a call centre and website which you can use to get direct access to our registered contractors details. Our customer service team is on-hand should you have any specific requirements or need assistance in finding someone, and if we don’t have anyone registered in your area we have the experience to provide you with advice on how to find someone you can trust to do a good job.

How much does Safetrade. cost?

Safetrade. Provides a service that is completely free of charge and is aimed to provide assistance to various groups and members of the public, we currently provide assistance to:

Local Authorities
Local/National Charities
Housing Associations
Property Developers
Property Management Agencies
Homeowners

Do Safetrade. tradesmen cost more?

Tradesmen pay a fee to become Safetrade registered, however the cost is very low and will not affect the price you are quoted. We would recommend that you get quotes from at least three local Safetrade. registered contractors before deciding who to contract for the work – but remember that cheapest isn’t always necessarily the best.

How do I know a Safetrade. tradesman is good?

Safetrade prides itself on only registering conractors who we feel confident will provide a high quality service to their customers. We continually monitor the performance of our members to ensure our required standards are maintained.
Through Safetrade you can access customer feedback reports for any of our registered contractors by viewing their profile online or calling our customer service team.

What if I have got a complaint?

Our members follow a strict set of guidelines with regards to contracts, complaints and dispute resolution.

Our customer service team is readily available to deal with any of your queries and if requested we can contact the contractor on your behalf to help sort out any problems.

Safetrade does it’s best to ensure you are satisfied with the service you receive from it’s members and any complaints that are received are taken seriously, recorded and investigated as a means of upholding our membership standards.

If you are a self employed tradesman, sole trader or large contractor, who believes in high quality work, honesty, reliability and providing a service that totally satisfies your customers, we would invite you to apply for registration.

You can take the first steps to becoming a Safetrade registered tradesman by providing us with the necessary details through completing and submitting the forms on the register page.

Please note that all Safetrade registered tradesmen must meet our strict membership criteria and are required to adhere to our strict Code of Conduct. Not every tradesman who applies for registration is successful and those who are will be subject to an ongoing monitoring procedure.
